Individual Therapy
In an effort to make therapy accessible and convenient for most, Dara Pappas Counselling offers several choices when it comes to planning your therapy session, including in-person, online and telephone counselling options.
In Person
In person counselling appointments take place at Dr Kenny Handelman's ADHD clinic - the Centre for Integrative Mental Health

Online
Online counselling appointments are conducted using the service doxy.me. There is no need to register or download anything to use this service
Telephone
Telephone counselling is also available for those clients who prefer this option
Fees
Counselling sessions are $180 per clinical hour (a clinical hour is 50 minutes)
There is no tax added to this rate as services of a Registered Social Worker are HST exempt
Fees are payable to the Centre for Integrative Mental Health and will be collected at the conclusion of each session. For in-person sessions, Debit, VISA and Mastercard are accepted. Online and telephone sessions will require VISA or Mastercard payment over the phone or an EMT transfer to the clinic's email address. In all cases, an official receipt, which includes my registration number, will be issued upon payment.

Mondays 9:30 - 2:30 (virtual/ phone appointments only)
Wednesdays 10:00 - 4:00 (available for in person appointments)
Thursdays 9:30 - 2:30 (virtual/ phone appointments only)
Insurance Information
Many insurance companies provide coverage for therapy services provided by a Social Worker who is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
Please check your particular coverage with your insurance company prior to your first appointment.
Receipts are provided upon payment
Dara Pappas Counselling and the Centre for Integrative Mental Health do not direct bill any insurance companies
Cancellation Policy
Please note that 24 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment. Appointment changes and cancellations must be communicated through the Centre for Integrative Mental Health by calling the office at 905-845-8850
The full session fee will be charged for late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) and missed appointments. Appointments will be held for 20 minutes past their start time, after which they will be considered "missed" and the full session fee will apply.
